Without any ado, allow me to present our next contest! We call ourselves Daydreamers' Realm, but we don't have much in the way of pictures of that realm. I want to see your images of the Daydreamers' Realm. Whatever comes to mind when you read our club name, that's what I'm looking for!

While talent is wonderful, we here at *DaydreamersRealm do not judge solely upon talent. Creativity is a must, and originality will earn you big points. The judges will be myself (*pisatielnitsa), ~Miraxe, and *Silverayn. The judges may not enter art in the contest.

PLEASE NOTE! This contest is leading up to a second contest! While participants in the first contest are not required to participate in the second contest, their ARTWORK will be a part of the second contest. All artwork is the property of the artist, but by submitting to the first contest, you are consenting to allow us to use your art in part two with full citation. Usage may include: reference, derivative works. All uses will include full reference, and private usage only.


Rules

• All are welcome! (You do not need to be a member to participate.)


• Submit your art via note to the club, with a link or thumbnail in the body of the note.


• You may submit more than one entry, but you will only be eligible for a prize for one. (You can't win first and second place.)


• In the description of your artwork, you MUST link to our contest! (This page, please.)


• Visual art only, please.


• No fan art. It may be part of your daydreaming, but not ours as a club.


• That said, you may draw on other people's ideas, but you MUST cite them. An icon is good, a thank you and link to the piece that inspired you is better.


• Same goes for source pictures and other materials; cite cite cite!


• All dA rules apply, as always.


• Contest ends at 11:59pm February 2nd, Eastern Time (New York time). No submissions will be accepted after that.


• *DaydreamersRealm/*pisatielnitsa will make any judgment calls, and if necessary, add to the list of rules.

Submitting

Send us a note entitled "Contest" with a link to your entry and we will add it to an entry list in this journal.

If you want us to submit it to our gallery at the same time, tell us and we'll do so. It'll be submitted just like anything normally would be, but it will get an extra note in the comments saying that it is an entry for this contest.

For members, submitting to a contest earns you 20 points, and winning earns you 60.

Interested in being a judge? You can't submit to the contest if you're going to judge, but you'll get to participate, and you get points for taking part. Send me a note if you're interested! Two judges are all we need, but I'll consider others.

Please note: Since this is a two-part contest, judges won't be able to submit to either part, even if they don't participate in the part they judge.
